“My bunny is finally here. I am so excited. It’s been an excellently fulfilling journey. Mother and child are perfectly fine. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers.”

These were the words of controversial Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo with which she announced the birth of her second child, said to have been fathered by a much younger man.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress and producer, who once went totally naked on social media to celebrate her birthday, and who also went to full lengths to ward off trolls who mock her over the choice of partner due to age difference, expressed her happiness at the development.

Incidentally, the partner named Bobby Maris is also celebrating to underscore the happiness within, using the same platform to pen his feeling thus: “What a feeling! Being a father is one of the greatest feelings I’ve had. Welcome my love, welcome my princess,” he wrote on Instagram too.

Thanking the actress, who in defence of the age disparity claimed that he made her a happy woman, the palpably elated Bobby also thanked Uche “for birthing me an angel.”
