BREAKING: Ibadan on lockdown, as petrol-laden tanker explodes

A fully loaded petrol tanker exploded on Friday at Total Filling Station, Iyaganku Ibadan, The Nation is reporting, increasing the tally on what has become like an common phenomenon in Nigeria.

The tanker, according to the report, was said to have gotten into trouble while trying to maneuver in the axis and ended fell off the ditch, while fuel licked out.

Firefighters on rescue mission are at the location trying to put out the fire, the report said, adding that the level of casualties cannot be ascertained, while the entire axis is currently locked down in heavy traffic congestion
