For the umpteenth time, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has cried out over the state of health of its leadeer, Nnamdi Kanu, saying his health is fast deteriorating and in need of urgent attention.

They say Kanu, who had been detained in the facility of the Department of State Services (DSS), must be taken to a specialist hospital where he needed to be given proper treatment for his deteriorating health.

Emma Powerful, spokesman of the group, in a statement on Friday, said that Kanu, who was rushed to what he described as an ill-equiped DSS clinic for medical emergency in Abuja on Monday February 27, 2023, needed his personal physician to take care of him, adding that the current effort was mere cosmetic step that could prove fatal.
